Lokoja is a small river port city, located at the Niger and Benue River confluence in Nigeria, just south, of the famed, Nok region. It is there, where artistry flourished, centuries ago, nurturing culture. The strong Niger and Benue river currents, moving southward into the Niger Delta, continue to create incredible zephyrs. They dance beneath the lively westward stream of easterlies, over the surrounding hills and floodplains. It is here, where my blood story unfolds, continued via spirit til birth. Although, I have yet to find solid evidence, proving which Afrikan region I originated from, my research, including God’s voice, has led me to Lokoja, Nigeria. Ironically, the Niger / Benue's connecting riverflow, at Lokoja, and resulting flow into the Niger Delta, is similar to a man and woman, meeting, and flowing as one in love. Any reach of repair, into our communities, has to be an extension of God's reach of love through relationships and family. The Price for Healing Relationships is a unique literary work of Christian Lokoja, aka, Michael Christian. The essence of this book is to evoke mental, emotional and spiritual awareness, within the individual committed to healthy collective interaction in life's relationships. Although designed for couples, it was written for all to experience and enjoy. Inspiring the author, God uses a balance of biblical study and actual experiences in love relationships to berth healing via insights and poetic expressions. The author is truly a vessel, successfully communicating his journeys of joy and pain, challenging minds to unlearn those precepts and examples taught, of personal, social and spiritual untruths. At the core of this book is biblical history, as well as, spiritual laws, that govern the behavior of men and women. Its foundation is the belief that God, through an intimate act, has taken a part of His spirituality, and created man and woman, in His image and likeness (Gen. 1: 26, 27), Holy Bible / King James version. In addition, that He has formed man from the earth and breathed, these two vitalities, into a temple of flesh (Adam); and further created physical woman (Eve) from a foundation (bone) of that temple. When considering the marital bond, and God’s intention for it, a mutual focus on history and what God’s plan or agenda is, is essential; restoration and reconciliation of fallen humanity to God, through the redemptive work of Jesus, the Christ.
